The 2007 BIO International Convention, the world’s largest gathering of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, nanotechnology, and medical devices leaders, again surpassed records in attendance, bringing the world of biotechnology to Boston from May 6 to 9, 2007. BIO 2007 attracted 22,366 attendees, with representatives from 48 states and 64 countries. Almost a third of the attendees came from outside the United States, and YOU ME Patent & Law Firm was proud to help represent Korea at the convention.
Building on its participation from 2006, YOU ME was once again the only Korean IP firm hosting a booth as a part of the Korea Pavilion along with 7 other Korean exhibitors representing the Korean biotech industry. BIO 2007 provided YOU ME’s Life Sciences Team members, including Dr. Margaret Leesong, Dr. Weonmee Park, Ms. Jung Hee Lee and Ms. Samantha Min, the opportunity to meet with many foreign clients and associates in biotech and a chance to answer many questions relating to biotech and life science intellectual property matters in Korea.
In addition to providing YOU ME with great exposure to the international biotech community as a whole, BIO 2007 was a terrific opportunity for YOU ME’s Life Sciences Team to learn more about the latest developments and issues in the industry.
